What is the big deal with wind turbines and people?
Its the same with all renewable sources of energy everytime a new wind turbine is proposed for somewhere in britain locals allways have some problems with it i see no problem with a few turbines which will benefit the planet in the long run as it stands britain is costing more and more to keep your house running on electricity if wind turbines were built in the widier regions of the UK such as hilltops and out at sea, as it would not do any harm to anything as long as they were properly fenced off from the public.
I have heard many locals complain that it would comprimise the natural beauty of the land however i look at the towns that they come from and they do not recycle which means that their waste along with everbody elses who doesnt recycle goes to a landfill and destroys places in the country, surely that is going to destroy the countries natural beauty much more than 6 wind turbines which are actually serving a purpose rather than just sitting there and decomposing?
Another type of energy source that is going to waste is the power of the sea you have all seen it the sea is expanding and it is taking britain with it and you cant help but feel awed by the power of the ocean and yet we cannot harness and use that power, or we can but we wont, the river severn in wales has one of the highest rise and fall rates in the world if we put a tide turbine there then according to a recent statistic there would be enough power to power birmingham for one week now that doesnt sound like alot however when you consider how many could go there then that is like powering many cities the size of birmingham and all the other places they could go aswell out off shore where the currents are strong along with wind turbines, these could produce much of out power if we diverted to using renewable engery sources it could help combat greenhouse gases granted this may not stop them however it could slow them whilst we think of ways to combat them.
personally i have nothing againtst renewably energy sources such as tide power wind turbines and solar power but if all you people stillwont accept the change then you may aswell burn with the rest of the planet.

PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii
since these giants of the video gaming industry bought out there next generation consoles there have been many minor debates on forum website and youtube about which console is the better one.
Some people say that the Xbox 360 is the better console due to its exclusive games such as Halo 3 and ingame features which neither PS3 nor wii have.
Others claim the PS3 is the better console due to its free internet, superior graphics and its future exclusive games such as Resistance 2
and others say that the ninetendo wii is the better of the three because of its motion sensitive controller and the games which encourage you to get up and move such as wii fit
however each console is not without its disadvantages either the xbox 360 has its major problem which is known to the gaming world as the red rings of death in which the system encouters a problem and is forced to freeze gameplay and the green rings on the console turn red and the console suposedly dies and take the game disc with it.
The PS3 has a similar problem in which the console suffers from a firmware update corruption which renders the console useless as it cannot mread game discs and it must be replaced
The Wii however only has the problem of the controller becoming loose and smashing something which has happened many times
there are songs on youtube which describe these problems they are:
the PS3 song which emphasises how much the PS3 costed when it first came out and makes fun on sonys executive making a talk about the future of playstation
The Xbox 360 song which talks about the red rings and how they ruin the 360 and how halo is a game for geeks it also makes fun of microsofts xbox division which shows it being a dictatorship and showing the man making the speech about xbox run onto the stage like a woman
and the Wii song which emphasises how boring the wii is unless you are drunk and how fighting games will hurt you more than anything else.
however all these songs are out of date and incorrect as the PS3 no longer costs 600 pounds or dollars
and the 360 doesnt always get the red rings if you play it constantly
and the wii is fun as a party console for multiplayer being drunk just enhances it
all these people on youtube i see posting comments saying that "360 is gay" or "PS3 is gay" and i say how old are you? they are acting like an eight year old trying to say whose dad is better you dont buy a console to see which is better you buy it to have fun to pick a console and play it dont go on youtube and other websites boasting about it.
